Who lasso is for

lasso is for adults aged 18 and over. If we believe an account belongs to someone under 18, we remove it.

Be yourself: real photos, real age, real story. Catfishing, impersonation and stolen photos are not allowed.

How we treat each other

A no is a no. Harassment, threats, stalking, hate speech and sexual pressure have no place here.

Don't share someone else's private photos or messages without their clear permission.

Don't solicit money, crypto, or “investments”. Romance scams get banned.

Photos, bios and chat

Profile photos and bios must be yours (or clearly about you) and suitable for a mixed adult audience.

Nude, pornographic, violent or illegal content is prohibited in photos, Roundups chat and direct messages.

Keep chats on lasso until you properly trust someone. We can only act on what happens here.

Screenshots

Don't screenshot somebody else's photos, or your chats with them. What they put here, they put here for you, not for everybody you know.

We cannot stop your phone taking one, so this is a rule rather than a lock. Passing somebody's photos or messages around without their say-so gets accounts removed when we hear about it.

Gathering proof of something wrong is different, and you should never need a screenshot for it. Report the profile or the chat and we will have the messages already.

Reporting and blocking

Use Report or block on a profile or in a chat. Reports are confidential: the other person is not told who reported them. You can still report someone after either of you has unmatched.

We review reports and may warn, suspend or permanently remove accounts that break these guidelines or our Terms.

What happens if you break these

Breaking these guidelines can lead to content removal, loss of verification, suspension or permanent ban. Someone who is permanently removed cannot come back with the same phone number or email.

We may keep limited records of removals and serious reports even after an account is deleted, where we need them for safety or the law.
